The Southern New Hampshire Women's Business Network has announced that they will be making a donation to Dress For Success during a fundraiser on August 12, 2008 at the new Samuel Adams Bar and Grill in the Fisher Cats ballpark. The Network has chosen Dress For Success as the recipient of their annual fundraiser. Dress for Success NH is a non-profit organization that provides professional attire and career development to disadvantaged women who are making the transition from public assistance to self-sufficiency. Dress for Success NH has helped to empower hundreds of women. They do not receive any government or agency funding and rely on fundraising events and personal monetary contributions to meet the financial needs of the organization. Strasburger stated, "The goal of Southern New Hampshire Women's Business Network is to help women network to grow personally and professionally, so it seemed natural to support the mission of Dress For Success by holding this fundraising event." Members of SNHWBN can attend for $20, and non-members can attend for $30. All attendance fees include appetizers, a ticket for the baseball game, and of course a great space to network in. Attendees will also be asked to bring lightly worn work attire and accessories. All proceeds will be donated to Dress For Success NH.

An e-blast will go out to the entire SNHWBN database, which includes all members and non-members interested in SNHWBN. Only members will be awarded the offer presented by the member business, but the information will go out to over 1700 people.

Interested members can submit their business information with an offer that will be available to members the entire month of their promotion and the board will determine which offers will be featured.
